A welcoming digital home for the Foundation that showcases their mission, promotes upcoming events like the Alberta Inclusive Growth Conference, and makes it easy for community members to get involved. Visitors can learn about initiatives, register for events, explore sponsorship opportunities, and connect with the organization—all through a clean, accessible interface that reflects the warmth of the Canadian community.
Launched platform promoting 15+ community events, reaching 10,000+ individuals, and showcasing partnerships with 50+ organizations including the Government of Alberta and City of Calgary.
COMMUNICATING A MULTI-FACETED MISSION TO DIVERSE COMMUNITY AUDIENCES
The Foundation needed to communicate their multi-faceted mission—cultural celebration, economic empowerment, civic engagement, and heritage preservation—in a way that felt cohesive rather than scattered. Their previous online presence couldn't adequately showcase their community impact or make it easy for people to get involved.
With multiple concurrent events (conferences, Canada Day celebrations, workshops), they needed a platform that could promote each initiative effectively while maintaining a unified organizational identity. Budget constraints meant the solution needed to be cost-effective to host and maintain.
UNIFIED EVENT PLATFORM WITH SPONSOR SHOWCASE AND LOW-COST HOSTING
Created dedicated pages for each major initiative with event details, speaker information, and registration forms. A countdown timer builds excitement for upcoming events, and past events are archived to demonstrate the Foundation's track record.
Built a sponsor showcase that highlights government and community partners, with tiered sponsorship pages for organizations interested in supporting future events.
Designed an accessible, mobile-friendly site that loads fast and costs almost nothing to host—ensuring the Foundation's limited budget goes toward their mission, not their website.
